With maybe an exception in graphics. The game was more challenging, it took alot more skill to become good at. The weapons were just plain better. The Pistol was absolutely magnificent. If used correctly(2 in the Chest, 1 in the Head) you could perform a TSK.
The game didn't have huge hitboxes, making it much easier in Halo 2 to hit players. You can almost feel the auto-aim when your crosshair is drifting towards the enemy. The level desings were better for both Campaign and Multiplayer.
The Campaign was actually worth playing multiple times. The story was addictive, suspensful, and most of all, FUN. Everything about it had me on the edge of my seat. Halo 2 lacks that.
In Conclusion, Halo 2 is for noobzerz and Halo 1 is for Pros.
